How to Prepare for Inburgering A2: A Simple Weekly Plan

A simple weekly routine helps busy learners practise all exam skills without feeling lost.

Key points

  • Practise a different skill on different days.
  • Keep sessions short enough to finish.
  • Use review and feedback to choose the next task.

A realistic weekly rhythm

You do not need a perfect study schedule. You need a repeatable one. For busy learners, 25 to 45 minutes on most days is often more useful than one long session once a week.

The goal is to touch every exam skill while spending more time on the weakest area.

Example weekly plan

  • Monday: Reading practice and review.
  • Tuesday: Listening practice and repeat useful phrases.
  • Wednesday: Writing task and feedback.
  • Thursday: Speaking prompt or picture description.
  • Friday: KNM scenario practice.
  • Weekend: repeat the weakest skill and review vocabulary.

How to know if you are improving

Track more than one score. Look at passing rate, question coverage, repeated mistakes, and confidence in speaking or writing. A score can go up and down, but the pattern over several attempts is more useful.

Common mistakes

  • Studying only grammar and avoiding timed practice.
  • Skipping speaking because it feels uncomfortable.
  • Doing new questions without reviewing old mistakes.

Simple practice plan

  1. Choose one exam section today.
  2. Finish a complete session.
  3. Review the result immediately.
  4. Write one next action for tomorrow.
